How to massage – here are the steps

  1. Ask your partner lie front-side-down on a steady surface. Let your partner be in a comfortable position for a more enjoyable experience.
  2. You need to focus on the main ‘stress spots’ like the head, neck, shoulders and back. In fact, these body parts carry a lot of tension.
  3. Stand beside your partner. Start by massaging bilateral sides of the head using your hands in a circular motion. Apply little pressure all around the head and behind the ears.
  4. Run your hands down to your partner’s neck. Using your fingers perform an oval-shape motion around the sides of the neck. Mainly focus on the base of the skull because it is the center of nerves that relate to headaches. So, massaging it relives your partner from headaches.
  5. Slide your hands down to your partner’s shoulders. Massage the shoulders with a bread-kneading motion.
  6. Now, come down to the back region. Start applying pressure in a circular motion on the lower back. Then, move on to the area around the shoulder blades.
  7. Repeat this massage on areas that are tensed.
